In the year in the midst of 1518, a most peculiar affliction struck the city within Strasbourg. One fateful, Frau Troffea, a woman lauded, was witnessed dancing in the streets violently. Her vigor was unmatched, and it danced tirelessly for days. Rumors spread like wildfire as others started by a similar need to dance. Hundreds of the city joined
